Shelf is a personal media shelf — a place to save books, videos, music, articles, memes, fashion, and anything else you find interesting on the internet. It's a browser extension, a web app, and a sharing tool in one.
The idea is simple: the internet is enormous, and the things that matter to you get lost in tabs, messages, and feeds. Shelf gives them a home.
Bookmarks are dead — nobody looks at them. Read-later apps are graveyard. What we wanted was something closer to a real physical shelf: curated, visible, personal, and occasionally shown to friends.
Shelf is for the things you want to keep, revisit, and share — not everything, just the things worth remembering.
Install the browser extension. Right-click any page to stack it. Drag open tabs onto your shelf. Build curated "shelves" — themed collections like "Sci-fi Films" or "Design Inspiration" — and share them as beautiful web pages. Friends can view your shelves and add items to their own.
All your data lives on your device. We don't have a server. Nothing is tracked. Your shelf is yours.
